Astrographs 2024

A selection of ready-to-print astrographs from 2024!

The World in Infrared

I've always been fascinated by the potential environments of worlds beyond our own - so much so that it inspired me to write my own novel called Laniakea. The planet in the novel has red plants due to a cooler star, and so it was only natural that this then influenced my photography as well.

Several years ago, I discovered Kodak Aerochrome film. It's a special kind of film that captures infrared and visible light, turning any plant with chlorophyl a vivid red. In 2007, Aerochrome was discontinued, but its legacy lives on in digital photography using filters like Kolari IR Chrome, which is what I use predominantly.

I hope you enjoy the vivid reds of this genre of photography, more is certainly to come.

*Please send me a message on Instagram or Facebook for a print of the panorama pictured below, as its dimensions are outside typical print sizes.

CATCHING PHOTONS

Ever since I was a little kid, space has fascinated me. I remember staying up late - flipping through space encyclopedias and looking in awe at the photos captured by the space telescopes and amateur astronomers. Now, I capture those photos myself.Ever since I began astrophotography, people have wondered when I will start selling my prints. Well, here it is everyone! I won't be selling prints of my entire gallery - only images captured over the past two years. So, once I release the first image(s) of the New Year, the older galleries will be retired. But, fear not! If you wish to have a print of one of my photos from a previous year, just contact me via Instagram and I will be happy to work something out using prices listed here.I hope you enjoy my work as much as I do, and every print sale from this site will go towards upgrading equipment and improving my skills in this hobby! What print type do I recommend? Metal prints typically hold their color the best between your screen and the physical print - so I would have to recommend them! Normal poster prints and canvas prints may look darker than on-screen, and canvas prints may lose detail due to their texture.

Want a print larger than what is listed?

Reach out! I'll be happy to work with you via my printer!
